Glad you get the raven impression. It's actually a mask that she manifests, though. I love to speed paint her as she's often created through jags of inspiration when I listen to music. I'll stop what i'm doing and take to painting.

I'll probably get to that other raven picture later, working my way back.

Ravens are perfect for animal masks. Because they are pretty, clever and well suited to defend themselves. It's probably a good spirit animal to have.

Dropping everything to draw? Wow, that's commitment, I'm kind of jealous. I used to be like that back when I was still writing. Inspiration struck at the weirdest occasions. Once I got up in the middle of the night and wrote down an idea I'd just thought up in my dreams. These days inspiration is slowly coming back, but I lack the time to actually turn them into stories.

Then again, never acting upon a stroke of imagination is kind of dispiriting. What you are doing is exactly right, keep rocking.

Don't be too envious. You recognize what it takes, so you're not exactly lacking what it takes. I hear about time being an issue, which I can understand. the thing I would recommend is seeing how exactly you can fit it in. I know someone who doesn't have the time, but has the passion. She does her art whenever she can slip it in. Maybe a paragraph at a time, throw it on a pad, scribble it on your phone or whatever you got and put it together bit by bit. By now I'm sure you're a very creative person, so that could use some real nurturing.
