Description
This dragonfly was only 1 1/4" long, the photo is resized but not cropped
Shot with a Canon 100/400 L Lens w/Canon Close-Up Lens 500D, hand held, manual focus at a distance of approx. 9", by moving the camera to gain focus
I spent an hour setting in one place, before it got comfortable with me being there and making small movements

This is truly a great angle. What I love most about this picture is that its not the regular "wings up high and firm" shot, it looks as if it were tired, exhausted. Thats a very interesting thing to capture.
