This is a drawing I have saved for like- since last year, never ever decided to upload it until now, since I'm... lacking uploads here. XD

This is an OC I created a while ago, her name is Astrid Jhakrit. A bit of backstory for her:

She was born in a very wealthy family in the Initium kingdom. Not only that, her family was well known for their skills with magic/spiritual abilities; other focused on some aspects more than others, such as healing or combat.

Astrid wasn't the exception to this, as she was very skilled at a young age, being able to create a lot of potions and spells: most of these to heal wounds or illnesses. She quickly became an important part of the kingdoms medical crew at 17 years old, as she focused the most on this.

Though she had prestige and remarkable abilities, she was very kind and humble. She loved to be around kids and teach them some spells for them to learn and maybe become mages. During one of her searches for ingredients to brew potions she got to meet a pretty cool kid called Ulysses: an explorer/rare stuff researcher aspirant. They came along really well along and they quickly went into a relationship, just to then get married 3 years later.

At 25 she had her first child, a boy, who decided to call Mathias in honor of his grandfather. Even with having the struggles of being a mother and a wife that never stopped her from doing which she loved the most: help and teach people. She realized her own kid got interested on what she was doing when he turned 5, so she turned him into her "student"; that to keep with her family's legacy.

Life seemed to go well for her and her growing family, but one day something terrible happened. A huge, but not last, twist in her life: Her husband went to explore some old ruins in the mountain region just to never comeback. She tried everything she could to find him just to fail in every attempt; not even magic could help her. This hit her really hard, falling into a deep depression, worsening her performance and efficiency on her work. But she tried her best to do not only that, but to also raise her kid alone and make sure he'd have a great future regarding their circumstances.

Sadly, her plans wouldn't go as expected as she caught an unknown illness that was killing her slowly, worsening every day it passed. But she didn't give up and tried all she could to find a cure for her illness. Unfortunately, one of her experiments was her demise, as one untested potion accelerated the effects of the illness, to the point she died in front of her son, Mathias, while he was trying to help his mother with no success. She perished at 37 years old.

Even in death, her legacy would never be forgotten thanks to her son, who promised to do great things as her mother did in life.

Astrid was very kind hearted, humble and very empathetic, as well as very skilled with everything magic related. She's considered the most skilled of the Jhaskrit family and most skilled mage of the Initium kingdom.
