Ok so I've been farting around so much with lighting in preparation for the Disco Dragon scenes that I think I might have accidentally discovered something silly about my use of Poser lighting. you guys have seen my previous portraits of Amanda and I was struck with how excellent Poser's Firefly nailed them. AbrahamJones said that he found Amanda more realistic than the others, and I agreed with him, but Amanda's material effects and facial details aren't much different technically from the other girls. Might it be the lighting? So I tried these portraits. I think I set them either too bright or too harsh half the time, washing out a lot of subtle details in the textures and material effects, such as SSS. What do you think?
