Fruit grows on trees. Therefore, I grow trees...in the HOPE that I will have an easy supply of fruit for years to come.
But whether or not they bud market-worthy produce, trees also influence the climate in a small way. They expel water vapour through their leaves as they respire, and take water back in for photosynthesis.
