GeneralName: Greyson Locke
uSolar username: DeadLocke
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Height: 6'4/193cm
Birthday: May 20th
Region: West
CombatCharm: Lock
Breakage: 6%
Type: Defensive
Weapon: Shield
Abilities:
Target Lock- Works similar to a taunt. Target becomes locked onto Greyson and forced to attack him and not allies for five seconds. Ten second cool down. Cannot turn off once it's activated. Will end if KO'd. Must have more than ___ HP to activate. (Not sure if we're getting HP. Let me know so I can edit!)
Lockdown- Greyson drops an impenetrable shield/barrier onto ally. The barrier is about three feet wide all around. Nothing can enter or leave the barrier. Must be cast on a different target other than himself. Anyone next to the target it's cast on if within the three foot radius will also be protected. (Again, because nothing get's in or out that means you cannot attack while protected.) The shield lasts for ten seconds and costs life force (or hp) to cast.

PersonalPersonality Grouchy - Realistic - Guarded - Sarcastic - Witty - Steadfast - Compassionate - Diligent
To say Greyson is an optimistic, happy-go-lucky kind of fellow is so beyond the truth that it is a flat out lie. Unlike his best friend the towering young man resembles more to that of an old man. He often always wears a scowl, and rarely smiles. Despite his otherwise just grouchy personality, he isn't easily angered. Perhaps one of his virtues. The twenty year old is steadfast and diligent in all his endeavors, and willing to put in whatever time needed for the task at hand. This even comes into play when dealing with people. Sure, he's a regular grump, but even with his added sarcasm he will help those who honestly wish for assistance when they need it.
Unfortunately, the shoulder he may offer for other's to cry on won't be reciprocated. Greyson is heavily guarded in his emotions and thoughts. It takes him a great deal to get close to a person, and rather than flat out lie, he will simply stonewall someone. It is his best defense mechanism to this date. Pushing people out and refusing to be close to them has proven effective in his life for nearly complete solitude. Don't be fooled, he doesn't find getting close to other's to be a weakness, nor is he hung up on if you cry you're a weakling. He's simply realistic. Whether a person has a great personality, they also have their flaws, and because of their flaws they will make mistakes. He's come to accept this reality. Life isn't perfect, so there's no use in trying to befriend everyone. Someone will let you down, and he's not in the market to be let down more than he has to be.
Despite his rational thinking and brooding temperament, Greyson, is actually a compassionate individual. He does care for the well being of his fellow humans, and yet again, should someone need his help he will lend a hand. However, this softer side is often kept under wraps so that he can be sure to keep up his tough front. Not to worry, even if you manage to impress him just a little bit he may share a brighter side to himself. Complimenting sarcasm is his wit. Well placed burns or jokes is his specialty even if he's not the one laughing on the outside. He enjoys a good pun at the right time, and will most likely share in fun with only those closest to him or in the right atmosphere.

Biography
Greyson was born to two loving, heavily driven parents in the state of Bellevue, Washington. One fact about his birth was while he wasn't unwanted, he was a bit of a surprise to two unwed individuals. His conception announcement had to two adults deciding to officially get married after their several years of dating. Their marriage lasted for a little more than four years before it proved to be too strenuous. They loved each other, but both were exceedingly ambitious in their careers and neither wanted to yield. Greyson's father had a career as a programmer while his mother was in the medical field. Often, Greyson's parents would work opposite shifts in order to have one of them stay home to take care of him. When that wasn't possible he would stay with his grandparents.
When a new, higher position opened up in Oregon his mother decided to take it. It was one of the final points in which both adults knew that they were going to be separated. With the blessing of her husband, and strict guidelines, Greyson and his mother moved to Oregon just before the school year started. He was admitted to kindergarten at the typical age of five, but for reasons his parents couldn't fully blame on their separation...Greyson failed, and was held back another year. As a kid, he simply just didn't give a crap about school.
It was his next year in kindergarten he met his best friend, Sasha. And what an energetic child he was! Sasha was warm and fun, and managed to pull Greyson out of his shell. His parents were incredibly thankful for their son to have made a friend, and as such anytime Greyson went to visit his father (which was a fair amount of time), Sasha was always welcome to come too, all expenses paid.
All throughout middle school he had been part of sports, and the occasion club. Majority of the time he'd only join a club if Sasha were a part of it, claiming that he was there to "look after" the boy. Needless to say, that didn't change much once they got to high school. Greyson joined the baseball team with Sasha, and grew to actually enjoy it, but his main passion for sports lied in football and soccer. His first two years he focused playing football, while his last two years he focused his energy on soccer.
One thing was for sure, he was never the student council president, nor did he ever give a crap about those kinds of clubs, however, he was always Sasha's "bodyguard" and anywhere that dork was hanging out...you could expect to see Greyson looming around. It was a typical day for him to chill in the student council room even though he wasn't part of the club, nor all that welcome. What were they gonna do? Make him move? As far as academics went, he only ever did enough to make sure he could still be on the sports teams. He was smart, but never the best. Ultimately, he didn't see a point in overdoing it. In his mind, he had more important things to learn that a classroom couldn't teach him.
Now that he's graduated he is trying to find what path he wants to take in life. He's unsure what he wants to do, and finds that he lacks direction.

Contact/Roleplay type: I'm gonna link a thing to most of my infos, but I'd like to say here that I do most of my planning/hcing on Skype. And then rp via Docs. I won't rp through notes. I am open to prior relationships of just about any kind if you can think of something that makes sense. I most likely will not ship with someone unless they are a friend/trusted source; feel free to ask. (This does not include if we work into characters' histories that they dated before.)
