Yeah. anything over the horizon on a Source engine map is in a separate area that's reduced in scale, and then rendered on anything with a "sky" texture as if you were inside that skybox area. This means any ordinary ragdolls or objects meant for the main game world that's placed inside the shrunken skybox will appear to be huge in the world proper, looming on the horizon and such.
