Description Fullview for great Justice. It's 1680x1050, my native screen resolution.

This was done for myself, hence the odd resolution.

Most of the time was spent shaping the fractal, so GIMP work was a little less. I'm still slowly learning the ropes. Rendering was a 2-and-a-half hour ordeal.

This is a very nice piece I'm a noob here myself so can I ask what you used to render the shape? Anything I've done thusfar is in PS just using brushes but I want to expand my options in terms of software.

It's a freeware program called Apophysis. It's a fractal editor. Admittedly, I barely know how to use it, but I've looked at the quick start tutorials.
