Just a month ago we had heavy snow that lingered for almost two weeks and caused many damages to houses, farms and facilities. Roofs crashed down under the weight of the snow, livestock died, several small towns in my area went without power and phone communications for three to five days.
Now, while February is still with us, it feels more like May. A nice thing but not a good thing considering climate change and all. But beauty will always be beauty and these almond tree branches in full bloom (they always bloom in February) are a real thing of beauty.
