Description
"I've got a surprise for you today!" Dread said over his bacon.
Sol looked up with his mouth full, "Whut iz it?"
The dragon downed his cup of juice, "You'll see." He had just gobbled up his fifth plate and got to his feet, even bigger now than last night, and waddled to get more.
As he passed, Sol prodded his bulk, "you're not gonna force feed me again like yesterday?" Dread just chuckled and went to pile more food onto his plate.
Sol had gained a good amount of fat from the solid stuffing the day before; his belly now not only swelled but sank down, hanging just over his crotch, the furry surface of the new bulk squished pleasantly when touched, Sol's fingers sank halfway up when he felt his stomach. He finished his mouthful and sat back, pressing his hand into the new tummy and feeling his full belly inside. Dread waddled back over; the dragon had gained too, his voluminous middle had swelled an extra few inches to just hang over his knees. It wasn't that noticeable but his arms and legs had inflated a bit too, making them just that little softer.
Dread sat down again with the bacon and eggs once again overflowing on his plate. He didn't waste any time in tucking into the fare.
"We're gonna take a bit of a trip today," he said between gulps.
"A trip?"
"Yeah, a long one, get a bit of fresh air and country views."
"If we're gonna skip town we better go tell the iron maiden," Sol said dryly, not fancying speaking with the short-tempered fox downstairs.
Dread choked a little on his bacon, "What? Skip town? We're not going leaving the city, no!" A breath passed, Sol's eyebrow rising a touch.
"Dread, you're a terrible liar," Sol said with a fond smile.
The lizard looked indignant for a moment before sighing sadly, "Ohhh, I wanted to keep it a surprise," he moaned, poking at his food.
Sol smiled and found Dread's feet under the table, giving them a little squeeze with his own, "thanks for doing this," he said warmly. The dragon blushed and ate another mouthful.
Sol watched Dread eat, happy to be in his company. The dragon was like a big soft toy that was so great to squish, a self-stuffing, life-sized dragon plushy and he only got bigger and cuddlier with every passing day. The lard dragon gulped the last mouthful, putting a hand on his stomach and pushing out a roaring burp.
"Ooohrf, that was tasty."
"I'm glad you liked it," Sol picked up the dishes and piled them in the sink. The bat had cooked up the meal while Dread was still snoring away on his bed. The bat started to scrub the plates; Dread had the excuse of being both a terrible cook and horrendous at washing up so he just sat back and played with his stomach, occasionally looking up to give his bat friend a little wink.
After he had finished, Sol dried his hands off and went to play with the dragon stomach. He pulled a chair over and sat opposite the red blob of fat, digging his arms into the scales and giving his large friend a big hug. The grey arms disappeared inside the red, it was like hugging a stretched water balloon, the skin on the fat was elastic and just sucked his arms in, Sol pushed in harder to try and find the solid food but he only just felt an area within the gut that was slightly firmer than the rest, his hands not able to plough through to the stomach.
"Hehe, bulletproof you are," Sol chuckled, pulling his hands back out suddenly to make Dread's belly jiggle.
Dread burped a little with the motion, "mmhmm, protection is important and I'm a careful dragon." Dread grabbed a roll of the blue belly and had a little rub, "hmm, not exactly immense yet but there's always room for improvement," he suddenly pulled the bat into a belly-squashing hug, Sol chirped in surprise as he was consumed by the wobbling flesh, "then you can be as big and cuddly as me," Dread chimed happily, pulling the bat into him. Sol just chuckled and patted the dragon's back rolls.
Once they had locked up they trekked downstairs and stood before the landlord's door. It was like waiting before the lair of some terrifying beast of horror, neither of them really wanted to get near the place. Dread maintained a wide radius of the door as if it was cursed, the lizard obviously thinking twice about talking to Anora. Sol was the one man enough to knock on the wood, Dread subconsciously edging behind the bat for protection. The handle turned and the door creaked open. Both their jaws hit the floor as the fox stood impatiently in the doorway slung in nothing but a towel.
"What?" she snapped. Dread opened and closed his mouth like a fish, his colour rising to boiling point so much so that his red scales were dyed a shade darker.
"W-we're going out!" Sol stammered.
Anora raised an eyebrow, "should I care? I'm busy" she glanced down at the two boys' enlarged stomachs and her sardonic expression increased a fraction. Dread stood behind Sol in utter embarrassment, scratching the worn floorboards with his claws.
"Out of town," Sol said, trying to get the words out as quick as possible.
Anora sighed and leaned against the doorframe, "back by eleven, then you're gonna have to be strip-searched," she said with a twinge of further annoyance, "you get one trip."
The thought of being probed by the attractive girl stuck a lump in Sol's throat and he couldn't say a word more. Anora waited for a moment to see if they had any more to say before slamming the door in Sol's face.
"Bwuhhh..." Sol said to the door.
Dread's head poked over Sol's shoulder, "she's gonna what?"
Dread had recovered by the time they reached the end of the street; the pair of them had decided to go bare today since the countryside promised a lovely day by the looks of the weather.
"Man she's a devil," Dread said, stretching his arms behind his head and leaning back onto them as he walked making his belly swell forth like a balloon.
"Because of her steel fist or her painted nails?" Sol said slyly.
"A bit of both," The dragon replied, "can't say tonight's not gonna be interesting."
Sol smirked and reached a paw inside Dread's belly rolls and gave him a little rub, "I can't say I wouldn't find it fun."
Dread chuckled and pushed the furry paw away, "save it for later today."
They came upon the station steps, the glass box seeming to float above the street. The duo ascended the steps just like on the day they came, this time their feet pressed down a little heavier. The entry side, instead of just having a stile like the exit, had gateways through which one had to purchase their ticket. Sol went first, selecting a destination at Dread's prompt and inserting a note into the slot. The machine beeped and a little paper ticket shot out of the slot as the gates parted. Sol stepped through and waited for the dragon to get his. They went to sit at one of the benches overlooking the panorama window over the park. In the morning light they could see the people jogging down the paths and the children playing soccer in the fields. The autumn leaves shimmered in the morning sun and the grounds were clad in a rich carpet of gold. Sol sighed wistfully at the sight but smiled at the thought of their day.
The PA system chimed and announced the arrival of the train. The large pair stood and went to wait for the locomotive to slide to a quiet halt. Reflected in the windows they made an impressive sight; blue and red bellies like stuffed orbs smiled back at them as the doors opened to receive them. They entered and found themselves some seats, Dread taking up two with his hip bulging into Sol's as they huddled next to each other. The bat gave the red fat a little poke and grinned at his friend.
"Such a fatty," he teased.
Dread reached over and poked him right back, "look at the kettle calling the pot black," he replied, chuckling as they sped through the city.
Dread leant on Sol's shoulder as they progressed through their journey. The dragon nuzzled the bat's cheek, the mammal chuckling and pushing the goofy reptile off. They had travelled far into the outskirts of town when Dread tapped Sol on the arm.
"This is us coming up," he said as he stood up. Sol peered out the window; a sparse forest was passing by as they slowed, the ground covered in leaf litter but the evergreens giving the canopy some depth. Their platform was no more than a weathered concrete slab with a sign and a bench. It was a wonder this modern train still bothered stopping at this relic of a station. The door slid open and the two of them stepped out onto the warm surface of the platform. The train sped away into the distance and the dragon skipped down the steps onto the dirt road leading into the forest. Sol noticed how Dread's rolls shined and glimmered as they bounced and flopped. He grinned, hurrying after his obese friend.
The light was marbled inside the forest, patches and flecks of sunlight getting through the shifting leaves to shine on the ground. The soft light coupled with the warmth the trees provided filled Sol with such a feeling of relaxation that his gait became a little windy as if he was drunk.
"Ooh! The day couldn't have been more perfect!" Dread sighed blissfully, twirling around to make the specks of light shimmer in his eyes. The orange leaves against the black maple trunks were a treat for the eyes, the surroundings giving one the feeling of calm and warmth, or in Dread's case, being inside an orange Jaffa candy. A blackened wood fence appeared along the side of the road, the structure fitting so well into the environment that they didn't notice it at a distance. Through the trees inside the fence, a weathered house came into view. The tan paint was flaking off as vines grew over the walls. The roof was weathered beyond belief but still holding strong. The place exuded rustic charm as they pushed open the gate, reminding Dread of the tropical isles with their ancient homesteads.
"I got us a whole day in here," Dread said happily, "come on! Let's explore!" The dragon opened the squeaky front door, walking sideways through it to squeeze himself in. Sol trotted in after the lardy lizard.
The theme of the interior was a continuation of the outside. There was almost no metal except for the kitchen appliances. This place was clearly a rented retreat for couples since, while everything looked like it had been there forever, it all worked fine. There was a small entrance corridor carpeted in clean plush that continued up the stairs. To the left was a cosy lounge room and to the right was the dining room and kitchen. Dread waddled through the archway past the six-diner table to the balcony, calling Sol through. The view opened up as he crossed the threshold to the outside once again; a vineyard heavy with grapes stretched in lines down the rolling hillside, the fruit being baked by the warm sun. The reptile stepped onto the grass and walked down one of the aisles between the plantations. He ran his hands through the shrubs either side, grabbing two handfuls of grapes and stuffing them greedily into his maw.
"Mmf! They're so juicy and sweet!" he exclaimed, tossing one to Sol.
The bat looked at the plump little grape, "I'm not really a fruit bat," he said, popping the fruit in his mouth regardless and jogging to walk beside his friend.
"Oh that's alright! We're headed to the cellar anyway." He pointed at the end of the hill.
Sol squinted at the green mound, "there's nothing there," Sol said, confused. Dread led him to the end of the vineyard and revealed the oak door set into the hill itself, making it hidden from eyes on the fields. It looked like a home of some secretive, underground goblin, Sol feeling as if they had just discovered a hidden treasure. Dread cracked open the mysterious door and descended the dim steps to the room below.
The cellar looked like it spanned the whole vineyard; the stone cavern was absolutely massive. Wooden beams ribbed the ceiling, giving off the homely, earthen scent. It was like being in a stone whale's stomach with the wooden ribs showing down the length. It seemed this whale was quite the drinker; stacked in aisles leading down almost the entire length were kegs and kegs of what Sol assumed was wine from the vineyard; there must have been hundreds barrels spanning the enormous chamber, a brief picture of Dread downing every one of those kegs flashed into his mind before being whisked away. The overweight blubber butt himself pulled the bat over to an area beside the racks. Sol didn't even see the cured meats when he came in, too astounded by the sheer size of the place. Hanging on hooks were entire legs of preserved pork, each being dried and flavoured so much so that their savory aroma wafted to them, mixing with the woody scent; the smells themselves seeming nourishing. Dread picked up an electronic knife from the preparing bench nearby and sawed off a slice of meat. He tore it in half and handed the other end to Sol, the dragon nibbled a little on the strong-flavoured food, finding it delicious beyond words.
"mmf! This is something you don't get every day!" Sol chirped in joy, finishing his first slice and going to cut more.
Dread wandered into the aisles and was immediately lost from view in the maze of barrels.
"Hey! What do you want to drink?" his voice echoed a million times in the cavern.
"Is there any cider in there?" Sol was slicing the third hunk off, the portions he served himself were getting larger each time, his addiction to the cured meat mounting. Dread returned rolling a barrel towards Sol, the bat was sitting up against the wall by that time, the knife in hand, just slicing the meat off and feeding himself with an expression of extreme content. Dread giggled and bumped the barrel against the bat's hip, handing him a cup.
"Drink up," he said, going to find a barrel of his own. Sol smiled, it was good to have a friend so committed to his enjoyment and feeding.
Dread had returned with a keg of strawberry fizz and was surprised to see Sol halfway through the pork leg, the bat was slumped back against the wall, rubbing his swollen tummy happily.
"Well well, seems like someone likes his food," he rolled the keg next to Sol's and went to unhook a leg for himself.
"This stuff is so tasty! I swear I could eat it all day!" Sol said in amazement, about to saw off another hunk before Dread plucked the knife out of his hand, laying down the leg he was carrying and slicing himself a chunk.
"Well you'd better save some for me, I'm starving!" the two sat together, Sol's barrel on his left, Dread's on his right. The one and a half legs were in front of them as they huddled up and took it in turns to feed each other the meat. They were in heaven, caught up in the excitement of eating delicious food without care, loving the fat they were eating and would soon be rubbing in their stomachs.
Sol's belly had gone from three inches over his waistline to seven in an hour; so zealous was his feeding that he never seemed to feel full. The first leg disappeared into the two of them and they had started on the second. Dread smacked his lips as Sol fed him an entire mouthful of meat.
"Mmm, I'd love to gorge myself silly but I need to keep mobile," he said.
"Aww," Sol whined, the thought of the cavern-sized butter dragon filled his mind again. Dread pushed a mouthful into his snout and Sol chewed up the meat, already slicing Dread's next portion.
"Uhh," Dread said as Sol sawed off a hunk the size of a toaster. Sol grinned wickedly and shoved the boulder into Dread's mouth.
"Glumph!" the dragon was caught unawares and the meat slid between his jaws. His mouth stretched wide around the meat as he encapsulated the mouthful in one go, Sol's hand giving the food a final push to send it down his throat.
Blop! Was the sound of it entering Dread's full belly, "whew! That was a big one!" he didn't notice Sol had gotten up and was pulling the tap off Dread's barrel.
"Open wide!" Sol chirped as he upended the barrel over Dread's mouth. The dragon was pinned to the ground as Sol sat on his belly, the keg emptying into the dragon's gut at a record pace, the reptile keeping up. Sol went almost a foot into the lard, the scales were so soft and comfortable Sol wanted to curl up and doze off all day on his dragon. Dread spread his arms out and received the force-feeding with wide eyes, concern for his mobility mounting. His stomach was already passing his knees while lying down, much more of this and he'd soon have it brushing the floor. The keg mercifully ended and Sol rolled the empty barrel away, pulling his legs up onto Dread's sizeable stomach and giving it a cuddle.
"Oooh, such a comfortable pillow you make!" he said, squirming in delight. Dread's shock wore off and he giggled, his own paws reaching down to give his gut a wobble.
With Sol on top, the dragon blew out a good two feet all around; the food inside inflated his gut up in a ball, rolls were formed where his belly met his jiggling pecs, his chunky butt made for a soft cushion for his rump. Three thick chins encircled his neck, rolling onto his chest in a warm muffler of lard. His cheeks and swollen up nice and plump too, dimples formed in them as he smiled at the treat he was getting. Sol's weight sunk him into the dragon; he flopped onto his back and peered up at the ceiling in bliss, feeling the red jelly belly closing in all around him.
"Sol, just how fat are you going to make me?" Dread's voice came from somewhere overhead.
"You? How about how many pounds you'll make me gain?" he replied, holding his own stomach, "it's like I've eaten a beach ball!"
Dread reached up and gave him a squishy cuddle; the dragon's hands could just barely reach the bat, "Aww, I like you this way! So much more huggable!" He said.
Sol just chuckled and hugged back into the fat, "alright alright, I hear you."
They stayed there until sunset, the two of them dozing on their soft bedding, so peaceful and relaxed in the spacious yet somehow cosy cellar. When it began to get dark the pair of them went back up the stairs slowly into the vineyard. Dread had grabbed the pork they didn't finished and took it greedily with him. They went back to the villa, Sol made some sandwiches with the meat and they holed up in the lounge room; Dread taking up the couch while Sol sat on top of him. Sol was perched atop two and a half feet of pure dragon lard. Sol sunk in up his hips, the feeling of the warm, soft tummy was like the best pillow imaginable, nothing could compare to its softness. With the sandwiches finished, Sol flipped over to inspect Dread's girth.
"Nice and big," he chirped, grabbing a roll in two hands, "you put on weight quite well."
Dread reached over to pluck a handful of Sol's gut which now had swollen out a little more with fat, becoming the size of a small dishwasher, "you're not too bad yourself!" Dread gave the furry tummy a good rub, Sol's plump cheeks dimpled and the pair of them lay there until nightfall.
They decided to head back at eight, signing out on the sheet of paper that had been left on the kitchen bench for them. They walked close, sharing each other's warmth as they made their way through the dim forest with a lantern to guide them. The concrete station came into view when they reached the edge of the forest, the two of them heading up to sit beside the rickety bench and wait; Dread was afraid he might crush the ancient wood into dust if he tried placing his butt on the bench itself, besides, his rear provided a far more comfortable seat anyway.
The train with its headlights and bright cabins came sliding into view. Sol needed to help the fat dragon up to his feet since the reptile was so obese. Dread walked sideways through the door and found a bare stretch of four seats to sit on; Sol once again sat on top of him. The inertia his belly provided made it wobble and slosh every time they set off or stopped, making the journey a lot more enjoyable.
They re-entered the city. Sol looked outside at the lights and his face fell, a small sigh escaping him.
He felt the soft, scaly hands hug him, "Don't worry Sol, we can go back there again," the dragon said quietly.
Sol would have pointed out they only had one out-of-city trip but he just smiled and hugged the overweight lizard back, "thanks, I know." The train pulled up and Sol hopped off the round dragon, his feet thudding heavily on the train floor. The dragon hauled his blubber up with a slooorrrsh and went to get out the doors, the other passengers immediately made room for the obese reptile.
They made it back to the apartment block; in each other's company, the threat of facing Anora seemed lessened as they mounted the steps to the front door.
"Oh no," Dread said; even sideways he was far too large for the door.
Sol went in first, "okay, I'll try and pull you through." But even as he said it he realised there was no hope in the world of getting the enormously fat glutton through the pitiful frame. But before the bat could tell him to stop, Dread had wedged himself firmly in the door.
Sol bit his lip as Dread's arm and leg flailed.
"Umm...help?!" Dread squeaked as he tried to claw his way through.
Sol was roughly shoved aside, "move," it was Anora, the slim vixen went to the blobbish fat stuck in the door and wedged her hands between Dread and the doorframe. She pulled the fat through in little bits, the softness of the lard meaning it just managed to come through. Anora grunted as the massive gut pressed harder and harder on the doorframe. Sol hurried to help, copying Anora's technique of pulling through a little of Dread's belly at a time.
Soon, after much blorshing and glorshing of Dread's innards, he wobbled through the door, his engorged form pressing both walls with his butt and gut. Anora was panting lightly from the effort.
"How did you know to do that?" Sol asked, similarly exhausted.
Anora stared at him icily, "I spend my working days taking care of vore criminals, why do you think I do?" She straightened up and immediately plunged her hand into Dread's belly rolls. The dragon eeped in shock as the vixen struck out like a snake, reaching deep inside his stomach. The ticklish dragon couldn't help but giggle at Anora's ferreting hands. She gave him a glare and he tried his hardest to stifle himself, his lard rippling with his silent mirth.
Dread took over half an hour to be completely searched. Anora finished rummaging around inside Dread's belly button, pulling out a sandwich from the red depths and raising her eyebrow before tossing it away. She moved onto Sol, thankfully, his rolls were shallow so she didn't need to rummage through them as much.
She gave them the all clear, "now get into your apartment, it's almost curfew," she strode back into her room and closed the door.
Dread looked at the stairs and then back at Sol with a sheepish grin. Sol chuckled and went up the stairs first. Dread had to drape his gut over the banister to get up the flight, Sol helping Dread shift the red boulder of tubbiness inch by inch until they collapsed, panting, on the landing.
Sol laid his head against Dread's hip, his own ball belly heaving up and down, "whew, we should have gotten a ground floor room," he panted. They calmed their breathing and in the middle of the quietness, Sol heard something. Grrrruuuuuwwwwlllllll, it was like a giant creature growling behind him as Dread's stomach announced it was hungry. Sol smiled wide and looked at Dread's shyly grinning face.
