I finally played Westley Weimer's Solaufein mod for Baldur's Gate 2 (I honestly don't know why I didn't do it sooner), and I was very impressed. It may not have a snazzy flirt pack, but the content certainly makes up for it. Solaufein really is a breath of fresh air, it's so nice to romance a guy who doesn't need to cry on your shoulder every time he stubs his toe. Plus, the same-sex option is very well done, no awkwardly written conversations or irritating dialogue options, which makes it a rare jewel, and not just among mods.

Anyway, the awesomeness of the mod was inspiring, and that's partly why I painted this, but I was also slightly disappointed with Sola's portrait options. There are certainly plenty to choose from, and it's not that they're of poor quality, it's just that somehow non of them really felt right to me. So I made my own, and here it is. If you'd like to use it in your own game, you can download the portrait-ized version below, or re-size it yourself.
