If you apply the same level of texturing&detailing&tiny touches to everywhere of a single picture, you'll probably loose the main focusing. Just a reminder, keep that in mind

I actually liked the old one better because this one has so much colorful details that i get really lost in whats what, but if i look away from that, and i look at the other stuff and peecawk feathers they are very nicely done. i think if you have done the front of his or hers face a little more simple, everything would stand out more i think.
But maybe this was intensional? to mess with my mind

Actually, I was thinking that before uploading. "It may be a little simplier..." kinda feel.. Then I said to myself "It IS rainbow dragon, don't make it simplier"...
You know when you work on and look at too much to a single work, it becomes harder to see everything in order. You may be right about that issue.

yeah i do that often, i overwork something, to think im gonna make it better, but then i make it worse.
its good to sometimes take that breath of air and just look at it from distanse (bet you know that already) but i often forget sometimes
