Even though "Women's History Month" is almost over (2 days from now) and my mom's still struggling with the stomach flu this Friday night, doesn't mean I always thinking about women in early rock bands from the 1960s besides male bands including The Doors , Vanilla Fudge , Creedence Clearwater Revival , The Turtles , Steppenwolf , Buffalo Springfield , and The Association respectively which I always obsessed thinking about throughout my adult years btw.
So here's my fan art version which was loosely inspired by Stephen Stills ' Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds which is Disney Channel 's hit teen series Hannah Montana I always obsessed with that name for which (in my mind) was a "2-name group band" instead of Miley Cyrus disguise and undercover herself as a 2000s teen pop sensation compared to other 2000s female pop singers like Britney Spears , Alicia Keys , Taylor Swift , and Mariah Carey tbh.
When I meant "2-name group band" I meant the famous 2-name group bands of the 1960s and 70s including Jefferson Airplane , Vanilla Fudge, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Moby Grape , Pink Floyd , Iron Butterly , Led Zeppelin , Canned Heat , Jethro Tull , Manfred Mann , Procol Harum , and other 2-name bands that don't go with "The" btw.
I wish they had changed the musical genre of Hannah Montana into the late 1960s and that is folk rock , psychedelic rock , and country rock (the same music style as Buffalo Springfield's) exclusively.
However, "country rock" influence is where Miley Cyrus' dad Billy Ray Cyrus sang country music back in the 1990s; a native of Russell and Flatwoods in Greenup County, Kentucky , and also a 1979 Russell High School graduate, surely if you know Billy Ray as much as my family, friends, and I from my hometown has, including his hit song and music video from Vevo 's YouTube channel "Some Gave All " btw:
Main Hannah Montana characters (from left to right):
- Rachel Kelley - guitar, harmonica, piano, vocals
- Lily Truscott - guitar, vocals
- Miley Stewart - guitar, keyboards, vocals (founder)
- Olivia Oken - bass guitar
- Desiree Fielder - drums, vocals
Anyway, I hope you can fav 👍 and comment 💬 on my re-posted fan art drawing version of Hannah Montana if you're a big fan of that music sitcom from 2006 to 2011 when I was in middle and high school a long time ago, I think Hannah Montana is now on Disney+ as of 2019-2020 btw.
