This means I get to talk about refracted light!!
(No it doesn't I just don't know when to quit)
Refracted light is that thing where you have an object with a really intense color - such as a hot pink skirt - being hit by light. The object begins to reflect light of it's own color - in this case, the hot pink - and this light hits nearby objects like the shoes and bottom half of the shirt - which is where I assumed the light had bounced to, making these areas extra pink.
Actually, I'm not sure if this is the exact definition. I just like how it appears in this color scheme OuO
