Description
- Beta Fight -
His eyes were stern Though he stood with a lax body in front of the Beta that stood before him. His ears were perked forward. Eyes cast to the side. He knew this was merely a test to prove oneself. The first he asked respectfully declined and...he understood why. The match up was far too one sided. This match up however...suited him. Mavro's shadowy form lingered somewhere above...he had shifted into a lay upon a perch...to watch the show.
Avallocks cue to start was the packmate's stern nod. The other dog was a bruiser similar to him. Though taller and beefier. Clearly...this dog knew how to fight. Circling. It was what he did as a habit...but this...this dog. He too circled. The pair of them eying each other like sharks in a tank after prey. Family. Blood. Loyalty. All these thoughts echoed through the young dogs head as he was suddenly rushed by the large beta. Family. Blood. Loyalty. He'd repeat the words over and over in his head as he just barely recovered from the hulking dog body slamming him into the concrete beneath him. His head spinned as he scrambled to his feet. A small baring of his teeth was given when the pain grabbed at his mind like a birds talons.
Waves of pain shot through him as he dodged a barrage of attacks. The large dog was big...strong...but not so smart. Not quite so...quick. Thank the stars for his capo blood. He'd have a slight speed advantage here. With a quick dash he'd wrap his jaws around the hulkers neck, tearing just enough to elicit a gurgling yipe from the Beta. As quick as he had grabbed he'd let go, returning to circling the larger beast. This dog was to be his ally. His comrade. His friend. He knew better than to--lost in his thoughts he'd fight to regain his vision. Black dots danced before him, punching holes in his sight. The large dog was on him, teeth wrapped around his throat and he showed no signs of letting up. Kick KICK YOU MORON! The thought came to him in between gasps for air as his throat threatened to close.
A series of quick sharp rabbit-kicks were given to the tender underbelly of the large beta that threatened to render him unconscious. With a grown and a flinch the larger dog would move off of Avallock, his belly torn near where avallocks left foot had dug in. Blood splattered the floor around them. It was mixed in swirls and lines. Paw prints and smears. Spittle and drips. From above it more than likely looked like a finger painting gone awry. The males would circle once more before a sharp growl-like bark would alert them to stop.
Young and still alert, avallock would simply watch as the beta scoffed, snorted, chuckled, turned, and trotted off into the shadows. There he was. Left to mend his own hard earned wounds. Alone...he'd allow his head to lower. Admiring with a bit of pride...the 'finger painting' that he and his fellow beta had left on the cold hard floor.
