Using my first BJD and that of a friends i have been looking into their movements and human qualities. A lot of people consider them as realistic versions of the small wooden manniquins you can buy from art shops. Well this is just one selected form several photos in the series, if people like it imay put some more up.Taken Digitally without use of the flash. The faces on these doll sare very reflective and u absolutely cannot use and kind of flash of direct lighting without bleaching them out too look like ghosts in photographs.

Do you know where I can buy BJD dolls? Under 200$, my parents wont let me buy a more expensive doll. I have 2 pullips but I'm looking for something with a smaller head. Oh and where did you buy yours? Btw nice picture

The larger the doll the more expensive, prices very from company to company and also on how limited the doll is.
At a price that low you would be best looking for a second hand doll, I recommend joing the forum [link] where people advertise the 2nd hand dolls they are selling. You can get amazing deals here.

I know that this isn't my question to answer, but I wanted to answer anyway. The Bobobie Doll Mall has many BJDs under $200. Just search Bobobie, and it should be the first link. If you buy one, though, be warned that hey send them loosely strung to avoid damage during shipping. But they have a very nice variety of cheap BJDs, and I haven't found another company to match their deals. They have small dolls for as little as $98 and larger dolls for $150-$200.
