First thing I noticed was that distracting element at the bottom left-I'd suggest getting rid of it... I'd also probably do some burning in Photoshop on the people, especially the guy...but what I really like about this, I found it quite odd but at the same time very cool, is the fact that the umbrella looks like it's attatched to the lamppost...

you are very perceptive, thanks for your suggestion ... i've removed the distracting thing and it improved the photo ... i've tried burning in but did not get the result i wanted but i'll try to do it later ... as you know i've been quite busy editing all my photos ... cheers
