I drew this months ago, planning to use it for something else.....but I liked it too much to just let it sit in my desk. Anyway, my character Karima; no one can pronounce her full Turkish name, so they just call her Karma.I got alot of responses about this one, some people said she looked bored, others said irritated. Very interesting.
Let me know what you think.

its really cool but i think that there should be more work to define the lines, with lines or by putting more contrast cause it seems a bit like her arm is melting into her belly

i absolutely love this one. she looks at peace, relaxed. either she is getting ready to change...maybe do some yoga, stretch...or lie naked on the floor listening to music....maybe she is going to jump into bed and get lost in the covers after a long day.....hmmmm....anyways good work

To be honest, I can't really tell what she is feeling. Nor would I want to.
But I will say that the pose is amazing. I like to think it's something we all do once in a while...just hug ourselves.

I think she's just thinking about changing. She doesn't look bored, nor irritated. Just doing something quite mundane. Your shading and pose astounds me...this is wonderful...please keep it up ^^

i dont think its bored or irritated but more along the lines of ashamed...i think its her expression that gives off that vibe...then again..i've been known to think something is way different that what it really is. i love the detailing though. its really quite impressive

This is an amazing drawing. I had to add it to my favorites. The feeling evoked by her expression is that of thoughtfullness, to me. I imagine her going through her daily ritual of preparing for a bath to unwind from her day.

Her real name is Karima Aydinlisoy (Kar-E-ma Ai-dihn-lih-soy)
Karima: Arabic for Noble or Generous Person,
And Aydinlisoy: Turkish for Enlightened Family.
No one can pronounce it, so they just call her Karma.

i don't make enough of a habit of faving things, and the picture's been on my mind since i saw it. hence, i realized that it is more than fave-worthy and that i should have done that in the first place
