YES! scanner is back!!

By the way,you might wanna know I opened a new folder called "The graveyard" (In my gallery)
In that folder Ill upload sketches that are not meant to be finished,and instead are put to sleep forever.

So,back on the picture...chess Pokemon.

This idea has been done a lot by several artists before.

( and to name a few)

So I wanted to try the idea in my style. Ill have this guy added to the Pokemon Argent Version project (If I ever do something with that region)

This little fellas are known as Pawned (yeah,like the PWND thing ).

Pawned is a rare Pokemon made by man,like Porygon.(ill develop the whole story behind this Pkmn some other time)

Like Riolu,you can only find one on the game,and depending on some choices you made through the game,is the color/type you get.You have a 10% chance to get a female Pawned.

However,Pawned can evolve into other chess pieces
.This happens when you mix the item "Board's end" with another specific item,and then used on Pawned.
(Example: Board's end+Sacred hat to get a Bishop)

You get the Board's end idea? Its based on a rule you find in Chess:
When you get a pawn to the opposite side of the board,the pawn becomes "crowned".When this happens,you can change the pawn into any other piece you lost during the game.(Except the King,obviously )

So the whole evolution method is based on this rule.

Same way as the rule,you cant get the King as a Pawned evo.
Instead,It could be a sealed secret piece...an Ubber rare Pokemon.

By the way,I bet you never heard about the Vizier piece,have you?.The Queen was formerly known as a Vizier,so I thought it would be cool to add that forgotten piece to the evo line (And because a Male Queen would be...disturbing )

So yeah,If I ever get enough time to do it,Ill continue designing the other chess pieces.
