(lol, I've found it's all in the waves2. I previously thought it was Auger, because I didn't understand what I was trying to do, but actually, tatasz has a fantastic gnarl handbook that gives you a rundown of waves2's variables: Gnarl Handbook - Part 1. I recommend giving it a look
