Monster Mythos:

With grace, pose and great intelect, one should always approach the hippogriff, with respect. With great caution do proceed. An offer of food, one should heed. If one should attempt to befreind the beast, offer it a feast. If attempting to ride, the hippogriff will take great stride to throw you, from their side. These wonderous beasts keep well hidden, to hunt one is forbidden. With wings thick and strong, the feathered beast do not take long to leave the ground, taking to the air, with little sound. Moving through the sky with lighting speed, if tamed, these beasts make excellent steeds. Scavengers, these beasts are not, only fresh meat for this lot. Hippogriffs sport great feathery plumes but, if caught in sharp claws or beak, great pain will loom. Mind yourself around these feathered beasts, other wise you may become, their next feast
