Hi~ I'm from ~
I just HAD TO leave a comment under this piece, because I simply love The Reptilians. This is an amazing topic and I am happy that I found your drawing!
First of all, the style. I absolutely love this style! I am such a sucker for a lineart and yours is gorgeous! Simple, clear and detailed in some parts~ I also like that the lines aren't the same, some are thin and some are thick~
I love the anatomy. His body looks lovely, and, I must say, HOT. He is one, handsome reptile here.
I like how slim, elastic, flexible and smooth he looks like, kinda like a snake. This body surely lets to sneak to his prey.
I love these round nipples -w-. It's a nice change from the scales and the straight lines of his chest and belly.
His tail looks so adorable! Swaying behind him and wrapping around a branch~
One thing that catches my eye - his lateral deltoid muscles look a little off his body, like it is more an armor than a part of his body~
The pose is really nice for eye. Manly and getting ready to attack from his hide.
Gorgeous face. I love the spikes on his head, it adds some rebellious style to his design.
His eye looking right at us is kinda creepy. Like he would know we're behind the screen...
The scales look really good. It must have taken forever to draw, right?~ Nice that you made them smaller on the face, around the eyes and on the tail.
The shadows are well done and in the right places on his body. I only wish the branches would get more of the shadows and the darker and thicker texture~
I like the locations of the branches. And nice idea with the spider nets here and there~
Have a Happy New Year and keep going, because you're really talented~

Oh I absolutely love the line work that you did, those scales must have taken a very long time! I think that tree looks a little flat and maybe like it doesnt have enough texture? Adding some knobs to it that the lines curve into would give it a some more depth and a more real texture. I also think that the arms might be a little long and you could use some more structure in the fingers (they may be lizards, but even they have some kind of toes). The arm reaching up towards the tree branch also looks a little off, and while Im not quite sure how to explain, I think it would help you to look at a reference of an arm bending in the saw way that his is doing. It just looks as if it may be broken from the angle that its from. I do think that this piece is very strong and full of potential, however! I absolutely love this lizard man, all of the different textures presented, and overall I think you did an amazing job! The spiderwebs were a nice touch, and I think just a couple of leaves could have really brought the background together.
(This is my first comment, sorry if its a little rough! >< ProjectComment )

Y'sure they're emotionless thoughts? Because that'd be... sad. Ok that may be a poor choice of words.

Maybe not emotionless, more like, they don't really fully understand emotions. Or at least, human emotions.

That makes more sense.
They probably wouldn't convey every emotion the exact same way.
