Again, lots of gradient work on this to get the colours just right.. Result of a digression from something quite different than what this looks like now
p.s. the background's black, not blue
as a matter of fact, there is no visible background as the flame is quite dense 
rendered in Apophysis 2.06 Z+
border & text in Photoshop CS2
no postwork...

I'm amazed at what you have done here! A fractal sunset, and it looks absolutely beautiful and real! But then, nature is full of it's own fractals, so not that unusual after all, huh?
