I decided this couldn't be 100% Apo (before I saw the note), but I'm still amazed at the integration with the flame - quite brilliant, and the low light level is perfect

the texture layer was just an experiment actually, but I liked how the two fit together.. in fact, the original flame was just the opposite of how this turned out. it was quite peaceful and was rendered with a blue-on-white gradient
