edit:I understand that there are splashes underwater. this is more of a symbol. our planet is digging its own ditch by melting the ice caps, destroying the ozone, and burning the rainforests. soon we need a someone or something to save us all from these disasters.

good concept, nice lighting, composition looks cool though it would have looked quite cool if you could have hooked the world on onto the hook and added some sort of blood drips dispersing in the water..

thats quite incredible, art should always have a thought provoking message to it (well... not always) and it funny because i leave NASA-TV playing on real player all night, every night (insomniac) they often play live footage of the earth turning below the international space station, and of course... water and the planets resource are one of the topics, this picture speaks volumes to me, i think more iridescent light on the planet where it meets the water, to illuminate the earth more... giving the image more life with light to enhance the visual inpact, and i dont know how difficult it would be if you put the hook through the earth itself? but overall... its pretty amazing, i like the way you think.

Wow thanks for such a wonderful review for it. I'm so glad some people like it. I was watching the news today and just dawned on my but our planet is sinking in disaster. Made me think of this idea.
But yeah, when I get home I'll try to add the hook going into it. I will for sure improve the lighting as well.

first, you need to have an idea. its all just a vision i had and replicated by using different stocks and setting the mood with a aquatic atmosphere. scan sxc.hu for stocks (all of these are 100% free and all the rights are set to let you use however you want). then just compose it all together. i used photoshop cs3 extended.
