While lazing around in bed this morning, clutching my Hitsugaya plushy and trying to summon the will to get up, I was suddenly struck by the inspiration to try and have a go at 'proper' digital colouring. By that I mean, not just using the fill tool and then using the lighten/darken (or burn/dodge tools, should I say) brushes to add shadows and highlights. I decided to paint it all instead. Now this is something I have never tried before, but I've taken a look at some tutorials, and browsed thorugh this month's copy of Photoshop Creative (which my Dad buys, by the way) which had an excellent guide to digital painting in it.
Anyway, after picking which of my most recent uncoloured linearts to test it on, I sat down with my tablet and started to colour.
2 and a half hours and 23 layers later- this is the result. Hope you like it!
