Description
So far, my biggest epiphany as a digital artist has been; oh my god, I can put the colors underneath the lineart. BRILLIANT.
This is a pokemon from my Pearl Nuzlocke playthrough I just recently started, as my friend gave me Pearl for Christmas; her name is Roxy, and just this morning she evolved to a Luxray, though I drew this last night so she's still a Luxio here. xDD
By far I'd have to say this is probably my favorite photoshop piece I've done; I like the way her electricity came out, despite it being pretty simple.
I need to develop a patience for real digital linearts. :C

I LOVE Luxrays, I personally think they are just the coolest thing, especially when they're given a more traditional lion-y look in fanart. xDD

I remember when I learned that... before that, I had to erase backgrounds since my characters' colour was on a multiply layer.

also love how you did electricity o3o I'm still learning exactly how I want to do it, which is going to be key when my poodlesheep Nell comes into play in HeartGold.

I've never tried electricity digitally before this, and barely ever do it traditionally either, so I'm actually pretty surprised at how well it came out. It was really easy, though! Just a two-layer event; drew light yellow squigglies at full opacity, made a new layer on top of that, made the brush bigger and the opacity lower and drew over the squigglies again. xDDD;; And POODLESHEEPS FTW. I love the Mareep line. <333
SPOILERS MUAHAHA. I have the same trouble. It's like THIS POKEMON IS AWESOME I DON'T WANT TO WAIT TO INTRODUCE IT IN THE COMIC, I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ABOUT IT THIS MINUTE.

oh you do it like that now I get it.
I shall have to try that when Nell comes into play O: I've already drawn her a few times, tho my comic isn't anywhere NEAR there yet. but yeah I looove the mareep line XD I think it's ridiculously funny that it goes from sheep, to poodlesheep, to... kangaroo?! or at least that's what Ampharos looks like to me.

-SPOILER ALERT LOL- I have this pokemon whom I really love, she hasn't been introduced in the comic, yet, (only a few pages away now hopefully FFFFFFFFT) And I lost her in a way that I never expected and just...cried forever. :CCC

Nice~! I like how curly the lightning bolts are. Haha, I had an epiphany when my friend told me you can color digitally below the lines too. But I had a bigger epiphany when I realized you don't have to outline any lines in order to color them. Anyway, this came out nicely. :3

Haha, thanks, Anti! I had a lot of fun with this one. And yeah, I thought I'd try that with the lightning, kind of "encase" her in it, since that's how I see the move Charge being executed; the pokemon covers itself in a current of electricity and charges at the foe.
