Hello! I’m coming from
I’ll be conducting this critique in these sections-
Shading-
Line Art-
Anatomy-
&
What you’re doing right-
Let us BEGIN

Shading-
Nice, intense, and fluent. The light source is very realistic and colored in a way where it looks believable, but not typical either. Even though it adds a lovely color contrast I don’t understand why there’s blue streaks in her hair, since it doesn’t look like a reflection or dye job. I’m guessing somehow the diamond in her chest made her hair glow, but it should be expressed in a less obvious way. Like have non-colored strands draping over the blue every now and then. Overall though the intenseness of this shading is very eye pleasing, especially the darkness around her hair.
Line Art-
I personally love how it’s detailed and understandable, but not too strait or perfect where it looks like it came out of a machine. It has a nice way about it where it’s a little rough but gets out the same exact information where smooth lines would.
Anatomy-
My main issue is the nose here, it’s a little undetailed and not too unique looking. (In my opinion of course) noses are the best part about designing human characters. They show so much character and dictate exactly what the person will look like. The nose here isn’t bad, or even disproportionate. It could just be something a little more.
the bigness of the eyes is pleasing as well, the rest of your human anatomy compliments them. And, well I was just about to say “I love how you can tell she’s a girl” until I looked at the description just to make sure.
he looks extremely feminine in all ways. No chisled features, major eyelashes, no Adam’s apple, the only thing to hint that he’s male is the lack of red lips. But even so I assumed she was a young woman.
What you’re doing right-
Obviously you’ve got shading pretty much down, along with expressions. The clothes are very detailed and layered along with the daimond in the middle of his chest.
One of the only things I’d recommend working on is human facial proportions to see what traits are feminine and masculine, along with that you could also study noses. two birds one stone!

well! I hope you enjoyed my critique

Hello from

For starters I really like the dynamic lighting in this image! it really lends itself to the mysteriousness of the characters origins and the potential darkness within. I also do like the colors of the hair that seem to glow. Also the effects of the green eye are very striking and they work with the narrative of the image. How someone or something is taking over this kind person and turning him into something else. Perhaps something sinister. The only thing I can think that could improve the image as a whole would come with more practice in unique lighting effects and confidence in using them. That can only come with time and practice and for now I can say you hit the nail on the head with this one. Keep up the good work and never stop trying to improve! <3

I thought this was a girl at first to be honest...but it looks really cool! You can definently see the cracks of sanity breaking and madness taking over.

Is it because of the eyelashes, isn't it? I dunno, who said males didn't have them too?

Heh, you're not the only one though. And thank you! That's the perfect description for his state in here ^^

Yes and no.The character you drew just had some facial features that reminded me of some female characters from American cartoons, hence my mistake. Males can have a girly appearence,Japan has done it a lot of times. The eyelashes are fine and can be fitting for a male character when drawn right so I have no qualms here.

You're welcome and I'm happy to spread some cheer
