The amazing lines of Dan Khanna, a.k.a., Dan The Art Guy, AND the beautiful colours of Josh Perez, a.k.a., Dyemooch, on this epic pin-up battle royale of Soundwave [my favourite Transformer!] and Storm Shadow [my favourite G.I. Joe character!] versus Springer [my 2nd favourite Transformer!] and my character Dengeki Ryouji!

I really dig the dynamic fight composition/poses, hyper details, killer colours/fx, and awesome lighting/shading! And Dengeki Ryouji using his tail weapon was a super cool touch!
I created the giant-sized faux comic book cover for Dan Khanna and Josh Perez's incredible artwork by mashing-up several old Marvel comic book covers, the Marvel Comics Group [URW Franklin Gothic Heavy] Fonted-text by URW Studio, the Fakt Soft Pro Medium Fonted-text by Thomas Thiemich of OurType, Herb Trimpe's legendary corner box cover art for G.I. Joe and the Transformers, Image Comics' G.I. Joe VS the Transformers' logo with an "AND" borrowed from Marvel's G.I. Joe and the Transformers' logo, my concept drawing of Kid Glyph, AND something borrowed from Mad Magazine...

I designed Dengeki Ryouji as an homage to my favourite character ever, Great Mazinger, who was created by Go Nagai The Mecha Master! I, also, included some elements from the X-Men Nightcrawler [my favourite Marvel character ever, who was created by master designer Dave Cockrum] and Colossus [who was also created by The Dave Cockrum], when designing Dengeki. The Eye of Horus, samurai, and knights were also key elements in Dengeki's design.
