i picked up the new reality yesterday and spent the interim gnawing on my keyboard, reality is a lot less hands on than luxus and binds me up in places. its not so far from luxus that i'm unfamiliar with the terms, but the interface is new - luxus utilizes the materials tab within DS, so i find changing multiple surfaces at the same time a bit difficult. reality does use full ibl which is great. afaik, in luxus you can only utilize hdr files.
so this render and the lilyanne render are kinda' what i'm going for using luxrender, and this leads me to two requests if you don't mind
