I like this piece. I think keeping the piece black and white just added to the overall atmosphere of wonder of the character in the photo; almost like walking into an unknown room not knowing what the expect. There is also a sense of the old-fashioned, early 1900's in the photo. Yet it also seems like there is too much light added to the scene. The light that is coming from the left side of the room seems to flood the entire room and picture. That is mostly why I the technique was taken down to a 3 star, and hurt the overall impact for me. You still did a great job with photo and the overall picture is well done. Great Job.

many thanks for the critque, but to be honest i actually like the light as it is ,But thats what is good about photography we all have different views on the same image and that will allways be the case and that makes photogtaphy exiting . Many Thanks ..)0(..

I like the dark colour. It gives a calming atmosphere.
