Lifes struggle against the odds in Dublin . everyday is another challenge to feed the kids and keep warm , searching for small comforts of hope to make life worthwhile , trying to secure a future for my children in this depressing world we live in , where has it all gone so wrong, nothing like the days when i was a child ,when everything was fun ,safe, careing,such a joy to live,holidays,happiness,freedom,respect,morals ,decency,values,trust, oh how i wish i could turn back time ....Related content

THis image captures your words and reveals them to the world. The overcrowding all the way to the foreground, tagging along the walls, shop signs nearly overlapping, a degree of fear in the eyes of the woman up front & more so in those of the young girl by her side, a child far too old for a pacifier clinging to it with her lips & mum's coat with her hand, and that small glowing pocket of pavement promising only a moment to breathe~

I visited London 2 years ago. I had the tourist view. If I ever return to Britain I would like to see a more realistic view of the country. I already know America intimately well.

Many cities in England have been taken over by immigration , we are officially the minority in London ,birmingham,leicester,and soon to be Manchester and alot of towns we are the minority according to the latest census figures released last month. there are posters up in some parts of london declaring that this is a sharia law area and it is patroled by muslim gangs and they tell the brits to leave in many areas there are riots on the streets between muslims and the E D L and many other new groups getting together .one day its really going to kick off the tension is simmering..

I hope your country gets things under control soon or it will be too late. Have you considered immigrating to Australia? Yours is not the only country facing this issue. I sometimes feel that America must also keep better tabs on the kind of people coming here. I am Black, we are 10% of the population. I think it is important to make sure my peoples numbers are not diluted by immigration of Asians and Europeans and Middle Easterners. I would hate to find my people in the position of Native Americans.

What do you think will happen in the far future when you consider that every minute in the world 2.5 people are born and only 1 dies (recent survey). Humanity is rapidly becoming a plague on this planet,devouring everything in sight ,taking the habitat of animals to build new towns for this ever growing population, one day the earth will be unable to support us all . What then ?

I am a scientist. I already know what will happen there are too many people. The population will stop growing. When there is not enough food and space and water we will stop. Many will die and people will change their behaviors.

Instead of waiting till we get to that stage ,Do you think the answer is for governments around the world to limit birth to one like China? In many African countrys they have not enough food to feed themselves,but it doesn't stop the population from growing. Do you think goverments know that we are heading for what can only be described as hell on earth due to over population, as its not just the food issue,we can do nothing regarding space to live, the world will not expand to fit us all in . Why are they not concerned about what we are creating for the children of the future ?

One child policy only works for a short time because young workers pay for old workers. Many old and few young can bankrupt a nation. Also one child policies always create lopsided sex ratios. People abort girls to have boys. Too many males and too few females make life harder for females.They become more of a commodity than they already are. Birth control and better health care will reduce population. People in the third world have many children because the need the labor and many don't survive. If they could be sure their children would survive they would have fewer. In industrial countries people have fewer children because they are too expensive to pay for a large family.

Its so refreshing to be able to speak to a person who really knows what they are talking about and to put it across in such an understandable way . I understand that as a scientist you are must be a very intelligent person, i just wish the politicians of our world had the same foresight and understanding of whats going on in this world of ours as you do . I believe if aliens came to earth and put you in charge of the whole planet and you also made all the rules for all the countries without them having a say in it ,our childrens children and beyond would would have a future... Thank you for the compliments. I have a Bachelors in Science. My degree is in biology. I would not want the power to do the things needed. I was born and raised in a republic. I believe in this political system. I think people should and need to have a say in their lives. I believe that when the truth is put in front of them they will make the best decisions for the group and not just the individual. We MUST make everyone feel like they are in the same group. I know this is naive. By the same token I believe once the decision has been made to SAVE the Earth then I am behind the efforts which MUST be done to save the future of the living things on this planet, not only for human beings.

Those decisions were made in the past and being made today and will be made in the future. I believe life has challenges. My generation had it's and the future will have theirs. What we were given and will give to our children are the skills to change the world for better or worse.

I don't think they are giving our children many skills over here ,many are leaving school at 16 yrs with the reading and writing level of nine yr olds , hundreds a week are expelled from primary school for fighting fellow classmates and teachers,knives and knuckledusters are confiscated on a regular basis from the teenage schools, pre school children ( 4 yrs old ) are taken out of nursery for foul language and violence. All that i have stated has been in this years newspapers . This is our next 2 years generations .

NEVER just the whole of society on the behavior and actions of the newsworthy. We get similar stories here. Sensationalism sells. Always has. The next generation is not only them. It is children who do the right thing, know right from wrong, have values. Their and people who end up on the trash heap. But most people do what it takes to keep society going and improving. I am an optimist because I could not get out of bed if I was a pessimist.

I have allways been a pagan girl and move around in pagan circles with my pagan friends and family ,and it is so beautifull we all look after each other ,never any trouble even when i go on the big pagan camping weekends with hundreds of others . I'm strangely glad to see that not everyone is blindly ignorant to how messed up things are. I guess it would be because it gives a slight glimmer of hope, that all is not lost as long as some folks are awake and aware.

This is precisely why I refuse to father my own children. If imy wife and I decide we want children, we will adopt some poor unwanted child that is already here.
Unfortunately, I tend to agree. There is not a whole lot of hope for the future generations... if any.
