High up on the moors behind closed doorsLies the witches cottage on the windswept moors
Windows sealed and bolted doors
She mixes potions on these gloomy old moors
When nightime comes she flys her broom
Riding high in the midnight sky
With spells and wand and a twinkle in her eye
This old witch won't be coming home soon
She has other plans and devious tricks
As she brushes the clouds on her flying stick
Sprinkling magic and uttering spells
She decides to silence all the old church bells.

I love this one, from the title " The Witches Cottage", to the somber black and white ( as opposed to color ) photo. It gives me a sense of intimidation, it's because the angle of your shot tells it's own story. OK, to me the building itself stands guard, challenging all who dare to walk on by!! I'd love to see the inside, and that too speaks praises for your photo. Capturing not only the eye ( of the beholder ), but the imagination as well ! ! I can't wait to see if you will capture the interior next ! ! I can just imagine an old witch peering out of the corner of a window....And Hurling Expletives at the passers-by. BRAVA

This reminds me of the great Gothic Hammer films from the 1960's. The cottage against the stark background give it a feeling of isolation. Bravo belissima!Β
