One thing I've always wondered, though, when it comes to pegasi being depicted as the mounts of angels, is this... Why would angels bother to ride flying horses, if they have wings, themselves? XD

That's something I've been thinking about myself too, but I guess it's the same question as "Why would human bother to ride horses, if they have legs themselves?"

lol I'd say both of those explanations are possible. Makes sense. XD It may also be for the same reason that many humans ride horses; the bond between horse and rider. ^^ That, and of course it's faster.
