I love the way it looks futuristic, but not in this shiny way where everything looks like a mirror, that I usually see in futuristic landscapes.
I really like the combination of the older houses and the men on the horses with in the dusty streets and the flying cars and the lights.

In the 90's all the scientists said that everyone will get a flying car. I bet they are already invented and the CIA is keeping them in their secret laboratories.

Oh yes, they will - under their hooves, like Iron Man under his feet. And they will definitely leave a rainbow trail behind them, when they fly.
They have to be be available for riding (otherwise I won't buy one) and maybe for the lazy people as flying carriage version.
I will have to pre-order one of these Iron-Man-Nyan-Cat-Robot-Unicorns to get it as soon as possible. Future, I'm coming!

This is interesting. I like the detailed city view, I think it has a little surreal feeling. Also, I like those horsemen rushing through the streets, makes me wonder how did they end up in such a futuristic place and where they are going...

Hopefully that is a good thing. I like it when pictures make me ask questions. I'll give you the purpose behind them. This concept was created for a video game. I wanted there to be a clear visual distinction between the areas of success and poverty. The idea is that the poor live in the lower reaches of the city, and the rich have shut them out from the tops of the buildings. The ground level is some sort of wild west, where people can only afford gas cars and horses. The rich put up their solar panels, and advertisements and block out the sun for the poor so only here and there the desert light breaks through. I love all of the small details you put in there. Like the flying cars in the top corner and flyers taped to the building on the right. It's like the more you look at it, the more things you find. You did a great job on this piece and I love the little spotlight you put on the cowboys.
