After his Queen was ripped from his life, King Sebastian, already renown for his strict laws and unyielding punishment, suffered greatly. Whatever little emotional capability he had was no longer present. Ice truly began to consume him. Donned in his furs and seated properly in his throne, all of his cares turned to ice. The jagged frozen pieces began to materialize, rooting him to his throne, creeping over his very skin, sealing in his sorrow. He could not move forward, incapable of coping with the loss of his beloved.
The Winter Court began to suffer. A King who did not care and lashed out when encountered, Winters turned cruel and ruthless into the Mortal Realm. Blizzards, ice storms, hail, the worst it has ever been. So terribly unkind that it was killing its own fae. The Winter Court was dying.
