That's a nice opening!~
This is looking good, I only have a few nitpicks:
The left foot seems a tiny bit small compared to the other one, and the right leg seems off somehow. Either the right leg is too long or doesn't seem like it would connect to the body right, I'm not sure which. At a glance I saw no problem, but once I looked at it more intently... my mind can't stop wondering! D:>
As for not having enough black... well you could have added more shading here and there, if you could not find good places for blacks. Otherwise color would help too.
