This film was done for a video art class. It's part of my art studies. The main theme was the body, and I decided to work with the essence of the voice, impregnating the whole atmosphere, penetrating the person. I wanted the flesh to be the canvas and the voice to be the medium.

I recently discovered that I like very much to work with classical bases, and to transform them to something more actual, with my personnal touch and cultural esthetic. Here, I was inspired by the chiaroscuro found in many Northern Renaissance paintings such as Vermeer's works. I used a front strong spotlight and accentuate the contrast with black curtains in the background. The bodypaint was done with water solube crayons. I also was inspired by the film Melancholy by
