Description Anima was actually really tough. I had no idea what I wanted her to do. I mean, in game, she's really powerful and that was really about it. Her special attack, Pain, simply did magical damage. And Oblivion was nothing special. So instead of making the card's abilities based on aeon's abilities, I made the card with only the names of Anima's special attacks, Pain and Oblivion in mind and tried to make what I think "Pain" and "Oblivion" would be in Magic the Gathering.

Pain was pretty simple. Just damage, right? I mean, that's painful. but in-game, it was magical damage as opposed to physical, so I made it be -X/-X and put Anima in black. As for what Oblivion would do....a Gatherer search told me that things with the word 'oblivion' in its name in Magic tended to remove or destroy things. The latter fit in well with the Pain ability and then I remembered that black liked to remove cards from graveyards so a few lines of text and a romp through Gatherer looking for wording precedents later I came up with what I think is a pretty awesome card with inherent synergy.

I think the lines containing 'Anima's power and toughness' and 'When Anima enters the battlefield' should be swapped, that way the player knows to exile all creature cards in graveyards before trying to tally up the power and toughness.

Since the P/T setting ability is static and always counting, it doesn't matter which order the abilities are in. Even if the order was swapped and you played Anima without any creatures exiled, she'd be put into the graveyard because she had 0 toughness before the "enters the battlefield" ability could resolve. However, I will change that to make sure Anima's got something to go off of. Thanks for your comments.

Whoah, definitely worth the cost. I also like the design of your Seymour card.

Why thanks. I felt this wasn't quite up to snuff but I guess so.

Oh, thanks! I'm glad you like it. Yea, exile's definitely got some untapped (yea, yea) potential for card designs. I just wanted to explore that a bit.

I think he should exile himself when he goes to the graveyard from anywhere, just for Flavor, but he is definitely an interesting and powerful creature, in the right deck in suppose.

Her. It's...a she. Sorry to nitpick.
Anyways, yea, she probably should. I forgot to write that in. Oh wells. If I get around to fixing my older stuff, I'll be to re-upload.

Hahaha, I'm constantly fixing my stuff and re balancing it based on new cards I make and metagame shifts. (Like when this card broke our format:

Seer, Archon of Redemption(This was before Wizards stole that name)
WWWW

Legendary Creature- Archon

When ~ goes to the graveyard to anywhere, put it onto the battlefield instead.

~ Can't be cast.

Whenever a permanent card goes to a players graveyard from anywhere, put that permanent into play under your control unless it's owner has you gain 5 life.

Yeah, it's really that dumb.

Yea, I rarely fix my cards unless it's something I really didn't like. Though most of the time, if it's something I really don't like, it wouldn't normally be posted. Or unless someone catches something immediately.

I make typos alot, so I end up fixing them, or sometimes I find better art or think of better Flavor text...

Art's always a problem for me. That's why I don't post original stuff. I'm usually fine with stock promotional art for non-YGO things.
