It was dark insideFelt like a caged bird
A wall blocked my view
Fear was only heard
Then a glimpse of light
Warmth felt within
Leading me forward
To gaze upon past sin
A new feeling of hope
Of floating on air
Brought me out of hiding
To leave me bare
Turning my face to the heavens
The heat of the sun
Opening my arms to embrace
Unable to run
As the spirit touches me
Giving me sight
No angry words slip past me
No will to fight
Now one with the angels
Another of the sheep
Being led to the waters

In full bloom I walk
With footprints by my side
