There is a hole in my heartA blackness that tempts to suck me in
I'm torn between two sides
To let go and embrace which I fear
Or hide, unknowing what could of been
Can I truly live if I hesitate?
Am I too comfortable in my skin?
Maybe I should rip away the layers piece by piece
Find what cowers in the corner
Is it me?
Am I too scared to let the winds embrace me and point out what's inside?
My subconscious knows the truth, yet it mocks me
Revealing dreams that hold concealed meanings
Burden me not I say,
Focus on what must come to pass
For these messages only confuse me
Leaving me emotional and lost within the maze of nothing
Capture me and force me to see
Until then, I'm just another wondering on a broken yellow brick road

I really like the style of this one. Confusion comes across very well along with a sense of uncertainty that is trying to find itself.

This is extremely cool, but you spelt "subconscious" wrong.
I love the wilderness in it... real tension there. A comma after "Burden me not" might help too. I like this a lot.
