Rumblewhisper got more freedom now
but he was sad his dad and uncle werent talking
he didnt know how to fix it so he went looking for owlbreeze for advice
she had a mean dad so she would give good advice to help him with his own mean dad
rumblewhisper knew to look in the nursery because that was where owlbreeze liked to spend her time

Owlbreeze was currently cleaning out the nursery when she heard her name being called. She frowned when she didn't recognize the voice. She placed the moss down before poking her head head out slowly. "Yes?" She blinked at the sight at Rumblewhisper wondering why he was looking for her, they had never really spoken before.

Whisperblaze had finished a patrol and had the rest of the day off
he was hungry and he walked over to the fresh kill pile for some food
he saw a white and black cat at the nursery and she looked thing
she needed food more than he did
so whisperblaze picked up a mouse and walked over to her and dropped the mouse at the small cats feet
"this is your you miss" whisperblaze said

Fallingkit looked around from his nest. His mother was a bit protective of him, but she was in one of her sad moods so she wasn't paying as much attention. The siamese tom slowly got out of his nest and looked around.

Owlkit was bouncing around the den, she was feeling rather dissapointed that her father wasn't in the camp.

Fallingkit looked around and noticed a she-kit about his age bouncing around. He was quite curious about her so he decided he should go over to her and say something.

Owlkit gave a sigh and sat down watching the enterance to the den entently willing her fathers head to pop through

Fallingkit approached the black and white she-kit that he had noticed was just sitting alone by the entrance. The tom kit looked at her and tilted his head slightly "what are you doing here?" He asked curiously then quickly added, "I'm Fallingkit by the way."

Blackstone stared at his second litter, his pale eyes took in every moment they made. The scarred tom wondered how they would grow up, and thought back to how far his eldest kits had come. All but one had made it to warriorhood, although they didn't all belong to Leafclan, which made Blackstone's heart clench in anguish. He missed both of his missing daughters, Sorrelpaw who was now in Starclan, and Frozensky who never returned from Highclan. His gaze swept over his kits once more before it settled on the palest kit, his daughter Owlkit. The worried father couldn't help but note the similarities between his eldest daughter and Owlkit.
"I hope you stay around for a long time," Blackstone whispered, "I hope you all do."

Owlkit rolled over stretching her paws over her head before she sat up looking around. She climbed over those kit and waddled over to the side of the best peeking out at the older kits who was playing in the corner. Flicking her ears in intrest she attempted to climb out of the best to join the others only ending falling into her back.

A small smile grew on Blackstone's maw as he saw Owlkit moving about. She seemed so lively and curious already, and Blackstone couldn't help but be proud of his daughter. When Owlkit had made a failed attempt of climbing out of the nest, Blackstone was torn between praising and scolding his daughter. The kit made an admirable effort, but she still seemed too young to leave the nest.
"Owlkit," Blackstone murmured, sensing that he might have this problem again, "What am I going to do with you?"

Owlkit blinked slowly looking up at the voice that came above her and gave a smile. "The other kits are playing." She chirped happily wobbling about on her small legs. "How come they so big?" She frowned trying to figure that part out. "I'm a kit? But they are really really big!!"

Blackstone's eyes lit up as he saw Owlkit's large, blue eyes met his own pale amber ones. He thought his daughter was beautiful, just like all his kits were. He watched his small daughter wobble on her legs, not used to moving them yet, and still learning beyond the basics. Her questions and curiosity made Blackstone chuckle slightly, and he leaned down to lick the top of Owlkit's head for a moment.
"Those kits are much older, almost about to be apprentices. When you grow, you will be bigger too," Blackstone explained as he raised his head back up, "You might be a short, small, lithe and slim cat like your mother, or you might take after me and have my broad shoulders and thick muscle."

Owlkit tipped her head when he finished talking then smiled. "Like daddy like daddy!" She wiggled around excitedy but ended up tripping splayed out on her stomach. She blinked in surprise then giggled again.

Blackstone chuckled as he poked a paw at his splayed out daughter. He was impressed with her energy and how she didn't focus on her mistake. They were good traits to have and it made Blackstone believe that his daughter would make a fine warrior, not that he had any doubts she would.
"Well, I guess we will have to see when you are all grown up," Blackstone mused aloud, and he pondered on Owlkit's size. She wasn't as small as Littlekit, as his youngest daughter was so much like Hollynose. Thornkit seemed like he would share his build, or perhaps in between him and Briarbee. Owlkit was a mystery to the proud father, as she seemed to be a mix, but growth spurts could change that. Either way, Blackstone didn't care about Owlkit's size. He had learnt long ago from his mate that size didn't matter.
"Whatever the size, you will be a great warrior," The scarred warrior said decisively.

Owlkit scrammbled back to her purrs grinning up at her father. "I'll be like daddy!!" She repeated proudly and leapt onto one of his paws. She wasn't one of the more agile kits in the nursery, In fact she was most likely the most clumsy kit or cat in the clan. Her brother was already steady on his paws yet Owlkit had some issues walking straight. Owlkit puffed out her fur. "Ill make high clan run away from here!" She declared.

The corners of Blackstone's mouth twitched at Owlkit's declaration. He could remember the days long past when he was a young kit with the same goals. Blackstone wasn't even concerned about Owlkit's clumsiness, as it seemed like a kitten thing to go, something Owlkit would manage as she got older. His daughter seemed so determined and ferocious, and Blackstone knew her fierce spirit would be her driving force, the thing that would make her a fine warrior.
The thought about making Highclan run away caused Blackstone to pause. His eldest daughter now lived there, as she had betrayed her clan and turned her back on them. Sadness and fury swelled in Blackstone's chest before he pushed it away, as he didn't want Owlkit to see him like that. The large tom couldn't help but wonder what he would do if he ever had to see Frozensky on the battlefield. With only a little doubt, Blackstone knew he would defend his clan, but he couldn't majorly injure his daughter, unless she did something drastic like kill one of his clanmates. The thought depressed Blackstone and he shook his head to think of something else. His heart couldn't really handle thinking about Frozensky or Sorrelpaw, and the thought of his broken relationship with Swiftrabbit caused his heart to ache. He focused back on Owlkit and promised himself that he wouldn't let his new litter down like he did his eldest litter.
"Did I ever tell you how I got these scars?" Blackstone asked as he settled on the ground, next to Hollynose's nest.

Owlkit peered over at the scars shaking her head. "No daddy." She tipped her head bouncing iver to him smiling still. The energetic kit placed her paws on the top of the best and attempted to climb out of the best.

The large tom smiled and pondered on how to exactly tell the story. Owlkit was still very young and he didn't want to scare her too much, but the world was cruel and it might be best to tell the whole truth to her. Blackstone sighed as he decided to just tell the truth, and if Owlkit got worried or scared he would be there to comfort her. Pale eyes fell on the pale kit as she tried to climb out of the nest. Blackstone reached over and grabbed Owlkit by the scruff and lifted her out of the nest. With a gentleness that had only previously been seen with his mate, Blackstone placed Owlkit on the nursery floor in between his front legs.
"Let me see," Blackstone murmured after he had let go of his daughter, "It all started when I was out on a solo hunting patrol."

Owlkit smiled brightly and curled her tail over her paws happily. She perked her ears looking up at her father staring at him intently. She loved hearing stories from her father she always thought them to be the best story's any cat could tell!

Blackstone was pleased that Owlkit seemed so attentive and interested in what he had to say. A spike of warmth and love filled his heart, and a gentle smile grew on his maw.
"I have been having back luck with hunting, so I ventured further into the forest then I normally would alone. I neared the Highclan border when I caught a scent. It was a familiar one, the scent of one of my clanmates," Blackstone continued, "I thought nothing of it. It's usual to come across another clanmate in the forest, and I didn't pay them much attention. Until I caught the scent of a rogue."
The last word came out as a growl from the scarred tom, and his eyes narrowed as he imagined the rogue he had fought clear in his mind. He hated the other tom, and almost wish he came across him again so he could sink his claws into the bobtail one more.
