The Succubi government is run by a council that vote on issues, things to do, things to invest money in, and laws. The laws that are brought up if at least 51% of the council vote for the law. The council is an ever growing group, because each member of the council is a representative of each variant of succubi, meaning there are no two succubi from the same variant. A new counselor is added only if a variant succubu's population equals or surpasses 100, only then will they be able to choose one of their own to represent their kind's interests. Now I bet you're wondering "What happens when the number of councilors are equal?" Well you see out of all of the Councilors one Version of Succubi holds the title of head council member: The origin succubus. This title doesn't mean much, mearly it means this councilor reads aloud the topics they are voting on, and in the case of an even number of members their vote counts as two instead of one. Other than that they have no superior authority over other council members. Each member is elected by their kind and will stay on the council until they retire, or are impeached. Interesting thing to know is the current head councilor has been in power for over two hundred years, and is continuingly bringing up topics to debate and vote on.
Now the voting process works like this. The topic is brought up, they are provided with all of the information about the topic and what effects it will have if voted for, each member gives their opinion, and finally they make their vote on the topic. The only race that is not apart of the council, and has still been given no member to this day is the incubus: The male Succubi, Why? Because each Incubus is too valuable to have them sitting behind a desk. However, because of the great importance Inccubi have to their country most of the topic that benefit the Inncubi have been approved, and each year over a billion dollars are spent on their welfare and protecton.
