After Glacia betrayed her sisters and was imprisoned There were thousands of dead souls wandering the world waiting to enter the afterlife. Being to busy repairing Maciel, and unable to deal with the increasing complexity of deaths Abarrane and Shula gave birth to their daughters Dabria (The white one), and Reba (The red one) to be in charge of dealing with the dead. Most that die in Maciel immediately pass on peacefully to the afterlife. However, either souls with unfinished business or full of too much evil are unable to move on. When They encounter a good soul Dabria will sing a song of passing to calm the soul so they can move on to the afterlife. When they encounter an evil soul Reba will devour them, and reincarnate them as servant sphinx where they must commit acts of servitude for their second life to redeem themselves and will keep being reincarnated until they do. Daria and Reba are forbidden to do two things 1. They must never reincarnate good souls 2. They must never take a life. To prevent accidental deaths, Dabria and Reba while being as big as a sphinx are as light as a feather and as soft as a pillow meaning they are physically powerless and must rely on magic for any heavy lifting. Their hide is infinitely stretchy as in times of war they may need to reincarnate thousands of evil souls. The gemstone on their chest is the source of their magic, and a gateway to Maciel's afterlife that can only be entered with their permission. Dabria over the ages has developed a fetish of pregnancy and loves getting pregnant and will often encourage souls to do the wrong thing. Reba hates getting pregnant as it slows them down though being a goddess they don't feel the pain of childbirth
