Description Happy Christmas, everybody! Happy, happy Christmas))

...and if you don't celebrate Christmas, happy whatever-holiday-you-celebrate-that's-not-necessarily-today. I know for some of you, it's no longer today, or very near the end of Christmas day.

Sorry it's so late! If you can see the date on the sketch, it was drawn on Christmas Eve, I just didn't get to coloring it until today.

You can either say I was lazy and did not want to do lineart, or you could say that I was trying to capture the softness of the picture by not using harsh lineart and a realistic background. Your choice, really.

So, if you don't know already, this is Arthur Kirkland and his little brother, Alfred F. Jones. I don't quite know when historically this is, as little Al's clothing might not be all historically correct, but it's during the colonial period. Before America was the wild child and after he was wearing his jim-jams all the time. He was just waiting for his big bro to come back home for Christmas.

...it's been forever that my dad was able to throw me up in the air like that, and he never will be able to any more.

In other news,
I ACTUALLY DREW A BACKGROUND.

Albeit a crappy background. Seriously, I don't know where to start when I'm painting. And I went for base colors only. The snow was fun, though. I abuse the motion blur tool too much...x)))

Okay, that's enough ranting.

Have a happy Christmas everyone. And don't let the Doctor eat your fezes. Or is it 'fez'? Whatever.
(You'd only get that if you've watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special)

I'm sorry I couldn't complete individual gifts this year. I've been out of state for a while.

Cool! I didn't realize it was APH until later though.

Something's weird with the perspective though.

Oh yeah...I forgot to put a vanishing point, and by the time I did, it was really late in the picture so I was all, 'screw that'. Plus, I drew the background without really looking at the people. orz I need to improve on that.

Thanks, though))

I see. And no problem.

How was your Christmas?

Ah lovely waste of time)) But I enjoyed every minute of it. I watched the Doctor Who Christmas special and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Wales (I think) play at the Proms, and they played music from Doctor Who.

How about you? 8D

I stared at the computer for 10+ hours...was really boring, actually. Then I read something and did AP physics LOL

LOL. What a fun Christmas! 8D;;

My mom was forcing me off the computer. She was all, "It's Christmas for Pete's sake. Spend some time with your family!"

My family was with old people friends lol, not very interesting and they didn't care if I was there, so whatever.

All in all, it was very boring. What did you get?

I'm sorry to hear that...

I got...the Marauder's Map, scarves from the four houses in Harry Potter, a time turner keychain, a Order of the Phoenix keychain, a Stormtrooper figure, and Swedish Fish. The Swedish Fish are gone already, lol.

And you?

Wow, you got so many things! Marauder's Map? How is it like the original one, if possible? So many Harry Potter things too, haha. I was thinking you would get more Hetalia things.

Uh, last week at school, my friends gave me candy canes and a cup My parents, I guess, can be said to have given me some things because they bought clothes for me today...but like, an actual Christmas gift which was wrapped up and put under the tree, no. I didn't get anything like that.

I know! I'm really grateful...the map is basically like the activated version of the movie version. It doesn't actually have moving pictures, but it has detailed maps of the Hogwarts grounds. My mom doesn't know about Hetalia, so I couldn't ask for anything related to anime or manga.

Awwww. I'm sorry. It might just be the childish side of me, but I think that brings Christmas down. At least they got you something sort of for Christmas.

Neat! Did they get it from E-bay? I don't know where people can buy such cool things)

It's okay. I don't feel bad or anything; it's always been like that. Whatever, I don't really want anything anyways.

Nah, I went to the Harry Potter theme park, remember? They've got all sorts of neat merchandise! I mean, they had Lucius' walking stick, actual replicas of the character's wands, shirts, and all sorts of stuff. They even had a gold-plated time turner!

Ah, okay. I dunno, I'm not quite used to that.
