One of my now five rats, Snuitje, posing for the camera.Snuitje is a female dumbo rat with part Himalayan and part (likely) amber markings.
Because of her ruby eyes I can't expose her to bright light or flashlight, and I don't get to photograph her when she is not moving often.
She doesn't have pigment in her eyes to filter bright light.

Because Snuitje came from a shelter I don't know her exact birthdate. Going by her size and behaviour I would say she is about 19 months old now.
I chose her birthday to be on the same day as her Gotcha Day, May 12th.
