puh... it took me at least 5-6 hours to get the animation parameters right, and then it was perhaps 20 hours to render it.

Sorry, but had to learn it the hard way with testing everything out myself. The only thing I had watched before was a short youtube clip about how to do an Animation with Poser. I guess there are a lot of tutorials floating around in the internet. Just use google and/or youtube...

it's part of the walk animation cycle, but I had to fix a lot of it to make it work with this model

I did delete all lights and then I created new ones.
I also assume that I made a mistake and created point lights somewhere at frame 180 with distant end 0 (unlimited light) and at frame 1 I thought it would be nice, if it would only had a range of 30 ft. That's why it was so dark at frame 179 and all shiny the next one. My lesson: always create lights at frame 1.
