Hmm...yes, Jet would use the Death Note to kill all unjust (Fire Nation) people in the world - morality be damned. Mai would work as the Shinigami who was bored and decided to spice things up. I'd call Katara is the Misa who adores Jet (and is oh so willing to be manipulated). Sokka is the mastermind (L) who mistrusts Jet and seeks to expose him. Aang would be Matsuda - that little nice guy that goes along for the ride. Zuko is totally Mello (matching SCARS!). Iroh = Matt? maybe...
And, that's enough crossover fun for me.
