Here I used the shutter speed to help me use the blinding sunlight that bounced off the flower to blind my camera's eye to everything behind the bloom
You might be able to do something similar with your own camera, just keep trying it out

The cool part about the black is that its not a backdrop or prop of any sort. This flower is growing next to my neighbors house. This shot was captured outside with a blazing afternoon sun overhead
