After I saw the hole covers of 253 until 256, I was excited, even that's incridible mess!But yet, it's enjoyable as hell to see these characters, especially watching these two in action and what's their new story.

I love both Antoine D'Coolette and Bunnie Rabbot in the comics. Even though these characters didn't really make much a decent impression in the SaTaM cartoons, the way Archie developed these two originals after the show ended and becoming the most beloved Archie Comics characters is truly the one of the great aspects of the comic's original timeline's stories.
Commenting about their new look though, I like their new designs. But I do had to say that the lost of face hair tufts of the female characters are not quite receptive, especially Bunnie and Sally. The hair "cheeks" played the important rule of making them adorable and I don't think Archie is wise by deciding to copy the exact model of Sega characters, such as Amy Rose.
As for Antoine, I wished he still would wear his blue tunic coat occasionally in the comics. What kind of mandate did Sega had to force Archie to change that part of characteristic features on the French coyote? Political correctness, I guess? No wonder I dubbed Issue 252 as the beginning of the PG Sega Sonic comic era.
Overall look likewise, Sega really disliked shirt wearing animal dudes and headgears are no-no for the head.

Well understand how you feel, I mean everything did change after the First Collide, their clothes, their world, even their personalities, I mean Antoine before he got his old memories back, he was expecting more action during his protection with Uncle Chuck and Muttski, I was surprised when I read that tiny bit.
After they recover their memories and going to save the planet in Unleashed way, to me what's happen, they haven't much big talks about their past lifes. (it's shame some parts of their new stories were in extra comics instead being in the main ones)
I understand they've a planet to save but I thought Sonic and Sally would at least have some talk more than just a few frames, I mean they did have a long relationship and I know it's now more complicated that Sally and Sonic having even a thing for each other.
I'm happy we have a couple like Bunnie and Antoine, they need each other to back to the action.
